How does it work?

A Local Newsie licenses the exclusive commercial rights to operate and grow the Newsie platform within a designated territory.

A territory may include an entire municipality, a specific area within a municipality, or several municipalities grouped together. Because each territory differs in population, density, and economic makeup, every market presents a unique business opportunity.

The Role of a Local Newsie

As a Newsie licensee, your role is to bring your community together through the platform. You help local businesses and organizations establish a presence on Newsie while sharing visual updates, events, stories, and other information from throughout your territory.

Over time, Local Newsies can become trusted community connectors, working alongside businesses, organizations, and community leaders to highlight the people, places, and events that make their town special.

In many ways, a Local Newsie serves as the community’s storyteller and a local promotional partner for the organizations they support.
